Instructions: Please use this form to update your building’s address or to combine multiple addresses that will benchmark and report as a single property or campus.

This form should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Within 10 business days, you will receive an email confirmation and/or any follow-up questions about your request.

Please use this section to specify the building’s primary address and the Chicago Energy Benchmarking ID that you prefer to use for all future communications.






Six-digit ID number listed on building’s Notification of Obligation to Comply letter; if ID is unknown, request it using this form.

If the address listed on the Notification of Obligation to Comply letter is incorrect, please indicate the following:

Please provide any alternate or additional addresses or address ranges that may be associated with this property so that we can identify and remove duplicate addresses.

Providing this information is particularly helpful if the building is on a corner and may have previously been identified with a street address different from the primary (current) street address. 

Please include any addresses that had been assigned a Chicago Energy Benchmarking ID but which should be included under the primary address above.

Use the notes section below if the building has more than 3 alternate/additional addresses and note if each address is not used, is an alternate/additional address, or is a separate building in a campus.  Include any Benchmarking IDs that have been assigned.
