Chicago Energy Benchmarking Waiver Form – Water Use Transparency
Instructions:
Please use this form to apply for a water use transparency waiver for covered buildings that do not wish for their water use information to be publicly available in the current calendar year.
Note: The City of Chicago will not publish individual water data for buildings that fill out this form in the current calendar year. Buildings that receive a water use transparency waiver must still benchmark, verify, and report energy data like any other covered building. To avoid having the water consumption data published this year, please fill out this webform by June 1, 2024.
This form should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Within 10 business days, you will receive an email confirmation and/or any follow-up questions about your request.
